Field Visit (11 May 2007)

RCAHMS Archaeological Survey: St Kilda

This cleit stands in an area of erosion scars in the saddle between Mullach Mor and Conachair. It is now roofless and in ruinous condition. Another cleit, recorded by Mary Harman in the 1970s some distance to the NE, was not located during the present survey and may have been destroyed by a recent landslide (Hirta 674).
