Aerial photography has recorded a series of cropmarks in two arable fields immediately NW of Meikle Kilmory farmsteading (NS06SE 397). The cropmarks include a trapezoidal enclosure (NS 04885 61391), which measures about 21.5m from WNW to ESE by up to 16.5m transversely over a narrow ditch. A wide break in this ditch on the NNE side may indicate the position of an entrance. Rig-and-furrow is visible immediately NNE of the enclosure (centred at NS 04897 61412), about 50m SE of the enclosure (centred at NS 04951 61349), just E of a short length of trackway, and immediately SW of the enclosure (centred at NS 04819 61363). Another trackway, some 190m in length, is visible beyond the rig to the SW. The remaining cropmarks largely represent geological features, old field boundaries and drains of comparatively recent date.
