A building, thought to be a bothy, is situated on a boulder slope. An enclosure adjoins its SE corner.

RCAHMS Archaeological Survey: St Kilda

RCAHMS surveyed building 2216, Hirta, St Kilda on 10 May 2009 with plane table and alidade at a scale of 1:100. The plan and section were later redrawn in vector graphics software for publication at a scale of 1:200 (Gannon and Geddes 2015, 88).
