Four redundant Saxon armoured personnel carriers have been arranged in a roughly rectangular formation some 600m SW of the former shepherd’s house at Inshore (NC36NW 2) to act as targets within the Cape Wrath Training Centre (NC26NE 2). The vehicles, which are located at NC 32196 69148, NC 32185 69084, NC 32113 69105 and NC 32127 69178, were airlifted to their present positions about 2005. The wheels and internal fittings of the vehicles have been removed.
