Note (29 December 1992)

Flint implements and debitage from the vicinity of Nethermuir of Pittendriech are in Perth Museum and Art Gallery under the following accession numbers: PMAG 1982.319.1-13; 1983.670.1-9 and 1984.326.1-12. Information from RCAHMS (JRS) 29 December 1992.

Excavation (2001)

A pattern of 25m square test pits was dug over the only field available in October 2001. Over 100 pieces of struck stone were recovered by a programme of sieving. Only three small features were located, in a single test pit. One, a scatter of small stones, produced three sherds of prehistoric pottery and charcoal. Extending the test pit revealed no further features.
