Numerous flint artefacts and flakes, of late neolithic - early bronze age type, from a restricted area on Nethermuir of Pittendriech, are in Perth Museum, together with a report.

NO 156 411 Small fields on Nethermuir smallholding, to the E of the steading, have produced many pieces of struck flint in recent decades (NMRS NO14SE 25; DES 1977, 43; DES 1982, 33; DES 1983, 37).
