(NO 1416 3074) A typical Bronze Age short cist was found in May 1918 (sited from plan) it contained human remains and a bronze armlet.

Activities

Field Visit (27 February 1969)

No trace of the cist or cup marked stones is to be seen at the site. The bronze armlet is in Perth Museum. No additional information. Nothing visible on the ground. Find spot located from Callander's measurements and plan.

Publication Account (1971)

A short cist was found in May 1918 some 250 yds (229m) ESE of Williamston Farm Steading. It contained an inhumation accompanied by a bronze armlet, which is now in Perth Museum.
