The map sheet and quasi-administrative area assigned to this record are essentially arbitrary. The vessel presumably foundered out at sea, possibly beyond Scottish waters.
The location of Drumboig cannot be ascertained from the available map evidence. Point of Stoer lighthouse (NC03SW 6) is at NC 0037 3296.
