At Cairn Geddes, a stone coffin was found over 100 years ago which may be Bronze Age.

The stone coffin was found about 1835, about six feet below the surface. It contained some human bones etc.
Name Book 1855.
Carin Geddes is a disturbed, turf-covered flat-topped mound, 20.5m diameter and 0.5m high. A modern stone cairn has been built on its S side.
