This farmstead, which is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Buteshire 1869, sheet ccvi) as three roofed buildings, two enclosures and a large field and the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1979) as two unroofed buildings, attached field banks and a large field, has been recorded on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 2005). Additional field banks can be seen surrounding the farmstead within which are the remains of rig.
