OS 6" map, Orkney, 2nd ed., (1900).
A stone standing almost 7 ft 6 in high with its major axis is NW-SE. At its base it is 2 ft 6 in wide and 1 ft thick and it tapers gradually to a width of less than 2 ft at the top. On its NW side there is a small indentation 5 ft above ground level. The stone has at some time been broken across the middle, but the parts have been cemented together.

Close to N side of road, a stone 7ft 6in high, its axis
NW-SE, 2ft 6in wide, 1ft thick at base, tapering to 2ft wide 7in
thick at top, has been broken and repaired with cement. [R1]
