Aerial photography has revealed a series of cropmarks running across a field immediately to the N of Fendoch Cottage. An irregular, and relatively wide linear cropmark runs NNW from the Cottage for a distance of approximately 130m. This is depicted as a trackway on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire 1867, sheet lxxxvii). Various other indeterminate cropmarks are visible to either side of this feature, mostly geological in origin. The cropmark of an enclosure (NN92NW 21) has been recorded 85m W of the Cottage.
