Buckie, 19th Nov., 7.57 p.m., the TOWN OF LIVERPOOL (sloop) (No. 17,995), is ashore at Strathline, and likely to be a total wreck: she is a vessel of 36 tons, bound from Stockton, with coal.

The available evidence for this wreck is confused, the rig of the vessel remaining unverified. Strathline is not noted as such on the 1996 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map evidence, but a location at NJ c. 44 67 may be suggested for this loss.
