An aerial transcription was produced from oblique aerial photographs. Information from Historic Environment Scotland (BM) 31 March 2017.

Field Visit (26 November 1997)

NN82SE 54 8560 2229

Cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 1977 and 1983) reveal a circular barrow on the end of a low ridge; its site now lies within a housing estate on the western edge of Crieff. The barrow measures up to 10m in diameter within a ditch about 2m in breadth. Although the line of the ditch fades on the N and S, giving the impression of gaps in the ring-ditch, close inspection of the photographs confirms that the ditch is continuous. There is a burial-pit in the centre of the interior.
