HY41SW 20 442 110.

At Pickaquoy near Kirkwall there was a chapel dedicated to St Duthac, which appears to have been erected by William, third Earl of Orkney. (1st of Caithness died 1480).

Within the burgh of Kirkwall.

Field Visit (5 April 1964)

Pickaquoy is shown as a quarry on the OS 6" 1903 edition at HY 442 110. It is now a recreaton ground. No information could be gained concerning the chapel.
