OS 1"map, (1959).

A mound of burnt stones.

RCAHMS 1946, visited 6 August 1929.

This turf covered mound, 1.0m. high contains much black earth but no blackened stones could be seen in it. It is close to a fresh water supply which suggests culinary associations. No finds have been reported in, or near this mound.

Surveyed at 1/2500.

Visited by OS (NKB) 28 August 1964.

A turf covered burnt mound some 100m SE of Holm battery (HY40SE 12) now measures a maximum of 0.8m in height with a rabbit or sheep scrape in the SE arc and erosion caused by cattle in its W arc.

Visited by RCAHMS (DE) May 1996.
