Field Visit (June 1968)
The stable-court to the E of the house, now somewhat remodelled, appears to belong to about the second quarter of the 19th century, but the adjacent barn (Pl. 98c) may be a little older. Thisi s a substantially-built structure measuring 25'9 m by 7'5 m over all, and having its walls pierced by a regularly disposed series of ventilation-slits (Fig. 222); the existing roof is modern. One end of the building is partitioned off to form a bull-house.
RCAHMS 1975, visited June 1968.
