Archaeology Notes

NO65NE 97 centred 6652 5819

(Name cited as Barnhead and location as NO 6652 5819). Air photography (AAS/02/5/G11/10, 13-14 and AAS/02/5/CT/69-75, flown 21 May 2002) has recorded the cropmarks of rig in a field of cereal crop on flat ground at an altitude of 4m OD. Part of a rectangular enclosure is also apparent to the S side of the field.
