The mound, composed of earth and stones, had been partly demolished by 1880 and was published as the eastern half of a flat-topped mound, c.20.0m in diameter.

A shapeless and much-mutilated mound of earth and small burnt stnes, 1.3m high, situated in an area of pasture close by a stream at about 150ft OD. It is similar to the burnt mound at HY 3033 1640 (HY31NW 26) and may itself be one, although it lies in a topographic position similar to the proven cairns 300m to the NE (HY31NW 13).
Resurveyed at 1/2500.
