The Pittenbrinzean standing stone, a block of whin-stone 2ft 9ins high and 8ft in girth at the base, is situated close outside the N edge of Clunehill Wood, at a height of 780ft (prob misprint for 180ft), and half a mile N of Clunehill.

The stone described by Coles (1906) is probably that at NJ 5143 6439, an earthfast, weathered block, triangular in section, and tapering towards the top, situated on a slight spur in an area of stone clearance.

A doubtful antiquity.
