Described in 1880 as " a conspicuous green circular mound...supposed to be a Tumulus". Classified in 1928 as a Burnt Mound.
Name Book 1880; RCAHMS 1946.
This well defined turf-covered mound, 2.5m. high is situated at HY 2484 1254, adjacent to the Burn of Una. It has been excavated in the top to a depth of 1.3m, but there is no local knowledge of any finds resulting from this excavation. In the eastern slopes traces of small burnt stones can be seen.
Resurveyed at 1.2500.
