Glenallachie Distillery is situated one kilometer south of Charlestown of Aberlour, and was built by Mackinlay McPherson Ltd in 1967-8. It has four stills. In 1998, it was operated by Campbell Distillers, part of the Pernod-Ricard Group.

A photographic survey of Glenallachie Distillery was undertaken by RCAHMS in order to provide recognition views for future reference. The particular purpose of this visit was to concentrate on the main production block at the east of the complex. At the time of the survey the distillery was in production.
