(Location cited as NO 559 502). Railway underbridge, Guthrie Castle, opened 1839 by the Arbroath and Forfar Rly. A remarkable bridge, convincingly disguised as a castellated entrance to the castle. The arch is in the perpendicular style, with dripstone moulding.

J R Hume 1977.
