Desk Based Assessment (1 September 2017)
This road bridge carries the two lanes of the A702 over a 60m span of the River Clyde near Wandel and comprises a flat deck supported at each end by sloping abutments and by two piers that rise from the river’s edge. It was built to replace the 18th century Clyde’s Bridge (NS92NW 39), which is situated immediately upstream.
