‘Lover’s Walk’ is a section of pathway that runs in woodland on an embankment parallel to one of Robert Thom’s Water Cuts (NS06SE 424), leading from the Kirk Dam (NS06SE 429) to the NW flank of Cnoc na h-Ulaidhe. A clapper bridge and gate, one of a number over the cut, stood at NS 08121 63796, and is probably the one that features in photographs from the late 19th and early 20th century.
