A short cist containing bones was found at NH 8626 7563 whilst a sewer was being dug about 1950. The mechanical digger disturbed the cist, however, and it is not known by the informant (Information from Mr G Skinner, 8 Hugh Street, Balintore) whether the remains were left in situ.
Site surveyed at 1/2500.
