Early 19th-century cottage with later 19th-century addition. Separate service cottage and game larder nearby. Built by Queen Victoria as a 'get away', but less used after the death of the Prince Consort.
This site was recorded as part of the Listed Buildings Recording Programme (LBRP) for 2001-02.
