Architecture Notes

NT27NE 393 25972 75987

18th and 19th centuries. An interesting pair of rubble buildings, consisting of a 3-storey, 2-by-5-bay granary, with a pantiled roof, and a 4-storey, 6-bay mill, with a Belfast roof, linked to the granary by 2 gangways. The internal structure of the mill is most unusual, with cast-iron columns and beams supporting wrought-iron joists and iron-plate floors.

John Hume 1976.

Site now demolished.
