What appears to be an unusually positioned burial cairn is situated on a terrace at the rear of the township of Tigh-na-gaoith (NH70SW 41) and is immediately overlooked by higher ground to the N, E and W. Circular on plan, it measures 12.8m in diameter by 0.8m in height, and its centre has been dug into.
