Activities

Field Visit (2 November 1970)

NH68NE 30 6820 8589.

At NH 6820 8589 prominently situated one spur is a stony mound about 5.5m in diameter and about 0.3m high. Its top has been disturbed but no structure is exposed. It is possible that this is a clearance heap, but its position suggests it is a cairn.

Visited by OS (A A) 2 November 1970.
