NH67SW 5 c. 609 745

About 200 small cairns existed a few hundred yards west of the grave which is preserved on the Mains of Ardross Farm. They were removed in improving the land. They were said to mark the site of a battle.

R Maclean 1886.

This battle is said to have been fought 600 to 800 yards west of Carn na Feinne (NH67SW 6).

Name Book 1874.

No further information, was found regarding these cairns or the battle. There is nothing to be seen in what is now arable fields.
