Information from Major C J Shaw to OS 5 February 1962.

Nothing was seen at this old gravel-pit and the adjoining quarry to substantiate Major C J Shaw statement.

Activities

Field Visit (3 December 1992)

There is a gravel pit at this location which has removed most of a glacial hummock. There were no signs of any burials or cairn.
