Standing Stone, Lunning. A little to the E. of the point where the public road ends at the township of Lunning, and just outside a cottage garden, is a somewhat irregularly shaped standing-stone of quartz conglomerate, set up with its major axis E. and W. It rises to a height of 6 ft. and measures 3 ft. 6 in. across the broad faces at the base, with an average thickness of 1 ft. 5 in. It tapers towards the top.
