(Location cited as NS 2425 9105). Garelochhead Station, opened 1894 by the West Highland Rly. A standard West Highland island-platform station with brick and wooden 1-storey building approached by a subway.

This intermediate station on the Glasgow-Helensburgh-Crianlarich-Fort William route (the 'West Highland line') of the former North British Rly was opened (by the West Highland Rly.) on 7 August 1894. It remains in regular use by passenger traffic.
