Old Kilpatrick Station: 189?. Two platform station with separate goods yard. Brick buildings to standard Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire pattern (ex-Caledonian Railway), with substantial awnings on steel grider framework. The up-platform building had a gap in the centre due to wartime bomb damage. The platforms and approach ramps were of reinforced concrete.

Visited and photographed by J R Hume, University of Strathclyde, 30 April 1966.

Information from NMRS MS/749 (Dunbartonshire, Old Kilpatrick parish, Old Kilpatrick Station), photographic prints attached (negatives with reporter, J R Hume).
