Archaeology Notes

NH44NE 13 4799 4579.

At NH 4799 4579 is a cairn situated on a ridge which is occupied by a field system (see NH44NE 12). It is a heather-covered stony mound c.6.5m in diameter and c.0.7m high, with the remains of a kerb around the E arc denoted by five set stones.
