Viaduct [NR]

OS 1:2500 map, 1966.

This railway bridge carries the main line from Edinburgh to Perth via Ladybank across the River Earn. It remains in regular use by passenger traffic.

The location assigned to this record is that of the approximate centre of the structure. The available map evidence indicates that it extends from NO c. 1165 1941 to NO c. 1168 1931.

The River Earn here defines the boundary between the parishes of Forgandenny (to the N) and Dunbarney (to the S).
