The Knowe of Midgarth is a tumulus.

Name Book 1878.

A mound of burnt stones.

RCAHMS 1946.

At HU 4995 4087, there is a grass covered mound measuring about 14.0m in diameter by 2.0m in height. In the top, burnt earth and stones can be seen where there has been minor quarrying. According to Mr A. Linklater, (Mr A Linklater, Pettigarth, Bressay, Shetland), several crude stone implements were cound circa 1954, but these could not be traced. The name "Knowe of Midgarth" is not known locally.

Resurveyed at 1/2500.
