Small cairns, Peddieston School.
On the moorland just behind the school on the NW slope of the ridge are numerous small cairns, mostly about 12ft in diameter but some up to 25 ft. The latter are grass-grown whereas the rest are covered with peat. In both cases abundant stones protrude.
