The robbed remains of this cairn are situated on a prominent summit in improved pasture 600m SSW of Upper Chatto farmsteading (NT71NE 132); it commands a broad vista in all directions except the E, the view being blocked in this direction by Chatto Craig fort NT71NE 43. The cairn measures 5.2m in diameter and 0.3m in height but the central dip measures about 3m across so that it now appears as little more than a ring of stones.
