The plan in the Proceedings (vol. xxvii) probably represents the best that can be done with this wrecked fort. The whole of the inner wall appears to have been vitrified, since abundant vitrifaction was observed round the summit of the hill and on all four sides at the date of visit, but the outer defences on other hand exhibited no trace of vitrifaction.
