This cairn is situated on the W shoulder of Beinn an Duibh, a rocky massif on the W side of the Kyle of Durness which comprises a series of knolls and ridges interspersed with wet, peaty ground. Measuring up to 1.2m across and 1m in height, it consists of little more than a loose heap of small boulders set on a glacial erratic block.
