What may be the footings of a stone wall are visible in both sides of a drainage ditch on the N side of the public road that traverses the foot of the S flank of Sgribhis-bheinn. Alternatively, the boulders, which are set into the peat to a maximum depth of about 1m, could represent the packing of post-holes for a former fence-line, the decaying remains of which include a nearby discarded gate.
