Cropmarks on oblique aerial photographs (CUCAP 1979; RCAHMSAP 1984 and 1989) reveal at least two lines of ditches extending along the leading edge of the terrace to the WNW of Strageath Mains. The ditches may be the ploughed-down remains of field-boundaries running along the edge of the haughland. Two trees are shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perthshire 1866, sheet cvii) along the line of this feature, perhaps representing the last vestiges of a hedge. There is also a scatter of pits of unknown function on the terrace between the farmsteading and the edge of the terrace.
