Gartness old mill: 18th century, now ruinous and overgrown, stands on the right bank of the Endrick Water 300 yards SSE of Gartness Bridge. A mill has functioned here since 1739 but the existing ruin probably dates from late 18th or early 19th centuries. Thse building adjoins a storehouse.
