There is a group of at least six widely-spaced small cairns on a steep S-facing slope to the SW of Grumby Rock. The cairns measure up to 4m in diameter and 0.2m in height. To the NW of the cairns there is a zig-zag length of tumbled drystone walling (NC 7019 1012) which may have been a sheep shelter. The heather across the hillside around the cairns has been recently burnt off.
