A field system consisting of large, sub-rectilinear enclosures formed by a series of veryb ruined and substantial stone-built dykes now revealed only as gentle linear undulations in the heather. This field system is clearly very ancient yet still forms the basis of some field division in the area today.

R [J] Mercer 1979.

Field banks abandoned in the 18th/19th-century.

Visited by OS (JM) 11 November 1980.
