This ten-compartment row of cottages measures 59.6m from E to W by 4.2m transversely within faced-rubble walls measuring 0.65m in thickness and up to 1m in height. There is an enclosure attached to it on the S. It is depicted, roofed, on an 1826 map of the Wilsontown estate (National Library of Scotland, Map Library) but it was roofless by the time of the 1st edition of the OS 25-inch map (Lanarkshire 1864, sheet xx.2). Smith (1985) dates the construction of this row to 1808.
