An old shieling.

Name Book 1873

Two main building footings, 10 by 4m and 24 by 4m, attached corn-drying kiln, and a ruinous enclosure wall, narrow rig cultivation is present. Round about are one or two lesser structural footings of a bothy-shieling type.

Visited by OS (JM) 23 June 1977.

This farmstead comprises three unroofed buildings and an attached enclosure as depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet x). The site is similarly depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1962).
