The remains of this coal mine, situated 400m WSW of Longrigg farmsteading, consist of a low crow's foot bing. It is depicted on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Lanarkshire 1899, sheet iii) as a bing at the end of a short railway siding that leads N off the mineral railway serving West Longrigg Colliery, immediately S of the Slamannan Railway Line (NS87SW 47).
